EMI Health Expands Into Arizona, Hires New Controller

 

New controller brings more than a decade of financial know-how to EMI Health

 

SALT LAKE CITY (Feb. 4, 2011)—EMI Health has named Stephen Clay, CPA, as its controller. Clay will manage EMI Health’s regulatory reporting with state insurance departments in Utah, Arizona, Idaho and Nevada. This hiring supports EMI Health’s expansion into offering dental benefits and its geographic growth into Arizona.

 

“Stephen’s knowledge and understanding of the financial world and our business will greatly benefit the more than 100,000 EMI Health members,” said Michael Greenhalgh, CFO at EMI Health. “We continue to grow in both offerings and membership, and Stephen is exactly the person to support that growth.” 

 

Clay joins EMI Health from CBIZ MHM LLC, Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. in Salt Lake City, where he was a senior manager over audits. Prior to that, he worked at TouchFON International as an accountant, where his responsibilities included the preparation of operational budgets and forecasts, acting as the general ledger accountant and preparing financial reports of international operations for the executive team.
