MATERNITY OPTIONS MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
Beech Street’s Maternity Options Management (MOM) Program is an early identification and intervention program to help give moms and babies a healthy start with their pregnancies, births, and newborn care. The MOM Program identifies any potential complications of pregnancy and develops alternatives to help reduce risk and the cost of claims. A Registered Nurse with high-risk pregnancy expertise manages the MOM Program.
The program
includes:
ØWeekly to monthly
contact With “MOM” by a Registered Nurse to provide education and support.
ØExtensive educational materials, including a comprehensive pregnancy book,
pregnancy calendar, and new mom and baby information.
ØCoordination of
special services ordered by the attending
physician.
ØServices from
conception through delivery.
ØBilingual – Spanish/English.
The Cost for treating one Premature infant
can be more than $1 million. By preventing just one pre-term delivery the cost savings are
